O’Neil’s extensive experience as District Judge in Fort Bend County, years of law enforcement experience, as well as his 20 years of legal practice, gives him a deep understanding of the justice system from all angles, making him uniquely qualified to serve as judge. His passion is for the protection of everyone’s civil rights in our courts.

- Appointed by the Presiding Judge of the 240th District Court.
- Presided over a wide range of legal matters, including criminal felony cases, civil suits, and appeals from lower courts.
State of Texas Judiciary Division, Richmond, TX - 268th Judicial District Court (January 2019 - January 2023)
Managed felony criminal matters, complex civil litigation, and appeals from lower courts.
Fort Bend County Public Defender’s Office, Richmond, TX (February 2016 - December 2018)
Handled criminal defense cases from intake through trial for indigent defendants, including pre-trial motions, voir dire, and trial advocacy.
